confused

I can't decide what to do after high school. At first i was dead set on going to college. Then i decided it wasn't needed since i would be going for dance. Then people keep telling me that it will be too hard to go into the dance world from the competition world without the push the school gives you. But then again i don't know if i will even make it into the dance programs that would work for me. I haven't taken the act or sat because i wasn't planning on going to school. I feel really behind with it all. I have to get in my application for the school, my application for the dance program, my head shots, and my audition in a short time frame now. And keep up with school, and keep up with dance and the classes i teach. It is a lot, but i think if i can get it all in and done in time then it will be the best plan for me. I know i have the drive to go out into the dance world but I don't think I am aggressive enough to make it right out of high school. There will be dancers represented by company's and the best agency's. If i go into it not knowing anyone in the industry i'll be lost and stuck. I think i'm going to try everything i can to get into this school so i can really go after my dance career.
